When Apple CEO Tim Cook?listed the navigation services iOS 6 users could try while waiting for Apple's own Maps app to improve, he mentioned the Google Web app. That particular option is looking better and better each day, particularly with the addition of Street View.
All you need to do in order to take advantage of this new feature is head to maps.google.com from your mobile device, look up a place that interests you, and drop a map pin. Once you do that, you'll find that there's a little figure in the lower right corner. Tap on it and you'll be switched over to Street View.
The Street View experience in the mobile browser is pretty darn solid and smooth. If Apple's Flyover feature isn't doing it for you (or your area), this might be the way to go.
